Disc golf is a great way to enjoy your day on the mountain while getting some exercise. Experienced disc golfers will, of course, want to bring their own “bag” of discs—otherwise, discs are available for sale and rent at the Snorting Elk Cellar and Village Inn Hotel Registration office.
There are 2 disc golf courses at Crystal. The Traditional Lower Course starts at the base area next to Discovery Chairlift. The Legendary Summit Course starts at the summit of Crystal Mountain, accessed via the Mt. Rainier Gondola. It plays down the awesome ski slopes and merges with the finish of the Lower Course. Disc Golf season at Crystal starts Mid June (snowmelt permitting) and is over in Mid October (snowfall dependent).
The Summit Course opens around July 4th, snowfall dependent. Questions about the course should be made to the Crystal Mountain Hotel’s Office 360-663-2262. The Mountain High Disc Golf Tournament is in September and is one of the most fun disc golf events in the Northwest. Come up and play the awesome course and test your skills against the Northwest’s best disc golfers.
